The "Developers" Link (API)

The Developers link provides information for the FileTransfers.net API (application programming interface). The API allows a developer to create custom scripts to automate certain functions on the file transfer site, such as syncing folder on the site with a local directory. If you wish to work with a developer to create a custom solution for your organization, direct them to the Developers link on your site for the information they'll need.

NOTE: Due to the sheer number of different types of environments and scripting languages, we cannot provide any support for the creation of customers' scripts. If there appears to be any issues with the API on our end we will happily take a look, but we cannot provide any assistance in the creation of the scripts themselves.
 

Current API Key Requests

This page is available to Admins and Super Users only and displays any API key requests that have been generated from the "Request API Key" form displayed to Sub-admins and Users. Key requests can be approved, denied, revoked, or have their denials reversed.
 

Generate API Key

This page is available to Sub-admins and User and is used for requesting an API key. Requests must be approved by an Admin or Super User before a key is generated and provided to the requestor.
 

Generate API Key

This page is only available to Admins and Super Users and is used to generate an API key for development purposes.

This link is available to everyone and will direct the user to the documentation needed to use the API.
