This page allows you to provide general information about your site and organization, such as:
- Organization name
- Organization URL (web address)
- Time zone
- Site disclaimer
- Site disabling
Info provided in the Organization Name field will appear on the site and on notification emails sent from the site. For instance, an upload notification sent from the site that doesn't include a custom subject will have a subject line that says, "File Available on the <organization name> File Transfer Site", with "<organization name>" being replaced with whatever is entered in this field.
At the bottom-right corner of your site is the text, "Visit the <organization name> Website" which is also replaced with the contents of the "Organization Name" field. The text will also be linked to whatever is entered in the Organization URL field, with most organizations opting to enter their website address.
The Change Logo section allows you to upload your organization's logo for display on the login screen and upper-left corner of your site after login. Logos must be JPEG, GIF, or PNG only with a 100KB max file size. We recommend a logo of 400w x 125h for best results. The logo will appear at full size on the login screen and slightly reduced on the interior pages.
The Site Disclaimer provides a method of entering text that will appear at the bottom of every page of the site, including the login page. Organizations will often use this text for legal disclaimers or other information they wish to convey to users.
Temporarily Disable Site provides a way to close the site to regular users, preventing them from logging into the site. Admins are still allowed to log in and can re-enable the site when so desired.
