The Account Management page allows you manage various aspects of your site, including plan type, payment info and site contacts.
Account URL
The is the URL (site address) of your site. If you wish to change your URL prefix (the part before "filetransfers.net" or "filegenius.com"), click the Request URL Prefix Change link, fill out and submit the form.
NOTE: Only the prefix of your URL can be changed. Due to our security settings you cannot use your own domain (e.g. "yoursite.com").
Plan Type
This displays your current plan type and amount of storage. To change your plan and/or increase your storage amount, click the Request Plan Change, fill out and submit the form.
Payment Info
This displays your current payment method. If using a credit card, the card type, last four digits and expiration date are displayed. To change or update your credit card, click "Update Credit Card" and enter the required information into the fields. If you wish to change your payment type from a credit card to invoice (or vice versa), please contact Billing at 888-753-2245 x704 or billing@filegenius.com. NOTE: Only Business or Corporate annual subscriptions can be invoiced. All other subscription types must be paid by credit card.
Subscription Renewal Date
This displays the date and time your subscription will renew. If you wish to cancel your subscription, click the Submit Notice to Cancel Subscription link, fill out the form and submit it.
Subscription Agreement and Payment & Billing Policy
If you wish to review the Subscription Agreement and Payment & Billing Policy, click on the appropriate link(s) found at the bottom of the page.
Site Contacts
On the right side of the page are the Site Contacts. These are the people in your organization that will be alerted when certain information needs to be conveyed from us, such as billing issues or site maintenance.
There always needs to be at least one contact, the Account Admin. This is the main contact person in your organization and who we will typically contact first with questions or issues with your account. If you wish to change who the Account Admin is, click Edit below the current person's name and replace any necessary information.
You can also add additional contacts as well, such as Billing and Site Tech. These are people who will be contacted when certain situations arise, such as with billing or site technical issues. To add a new person, click Add New Site Contact, select the person's contact type from the download menu and fill in the required forms. When finished, click Add Contact.
